NHRA Summit ET Series

Nhra Summit Et Series

The NHRA Summit ET Series is the largest drag racing series in the country with over 80,000 racers participating nationwide within 7 Divisions. NHRA has featured an ET drag racing series since the mid-1970s. It provides even and exciting competition for the local racer, the backbone of NHRA.
Firebird Motorsports Park competes in Division 7 along with other members tracks in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Western New Mexico, Utah, and Western Colorado. The Division 7 champions in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Motorcycle receive a division champion’s trophy, jacket, and purse.
The champions then advance to the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship at the season-ending Auto Club NHRA Finals in Pomona, where they receive $3,000 travel money for attending the event in California and compete for a lucrative Summit prize fund, the national championship trophy, and jacket and contingency awards.
Firebird Motorsports Park | about us 2
There’s a little bit of everything at NHRA Summit ET Series Points Races. You can get up close in the pits and then watch them blaze down the track! You will see new street cars, nostalgic muscle cars, dragsters, and motorcycles as they all compete in the NHRA Summit Racing ET bracket series.
We’ll also be running our Junior Street program points race. Racers 13 to 16 years of age go against each other for the win with a parent in the passenger seat.
You do not need to be a member to compete, but it is encouraged to be a part of the team and series to earn points for the end-of-year awards and prizes!
